(Photo by Wichan Charoenkiatpakul)Police managed to talk a man out of jumping from the roof of a building in the heart of Bangkok on Wednesday. Phaya Thai firefighters rushed to the scene and deployed a giant air cushion in case he decided to take the plunge. At about 5.45pm, after almost two hours of persuasion by Lumphini police, the man left the rooftop and returned inside the building, 199 police radio reported. Jor Sor 100 traffic radio reported he was 21 years old.
